Ryan Chrys & The Rough Cuts Announcew New Album, Extensive West Coast Tour

RYAN CHRYS & THE ROUGH CUTS ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM, EXTENSIVE WEST COAST TOUR
‘Shovel Full of Coal’ debuts March 28 with west coast dates to follow

One of the hardest working bands in Colorado, Ryan Chrys & The Rough Cuts is hitting the road again in April for a full west coast tour in support of their new album ‘Shovel Full of Coal’. Due March 28th, the record features 10 tracks driven by blazing guitars, gritty lap steel and a rock ‘n’ roll attitude.

A genre all their own, their music is a dedication to the spirit of traditional outlaw country artists, inspiring new energy to music fans who love the heroes of the old; this is Modern Outlaw Country. Fans may already be familiar with the song of the same name,  as the band debuted the single in 2016. The music video has already been praised as one of Westword’s 15 Best Videos in Colorado.

Brought to life at Denver’s The Keep, recording of the album was done by Jeff Kanan, who previously worked at Los Angeles’ Westlake Audio as senior staff engineer with some of the world’s top artists and producers.  The new album arrives just a week before the band embarks on a month-long west coast tour in April with dates in Wyo., Mont., Idaho, Wash., Ore., Calif. And Nev.

Pre-orders for the album are currently available  through iTunes. For more information and updates on the tour, please visit RoughCutsBand.com
